What is The Jetset Society?
The Jetset Society is a professional live band for events where the music, the look of the band and the timing all matter. Every musician is a full-time professional with a music degree, most of them based in Vienna and the surrounding area. They play live on stage and shape the music around your occasion and venue, the audience in the room and the atmosphere you have in mind.
Every song on the repertoire list can be played live in any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians. What the lineup changes is arrangement, tonal colour and presence on stage – not whether a song can be played at all. The repertoire runs to more than 800 songs, taking in pop, soul, jazz, disco, rock, Austropop, Schlager, dance music, dinner music and modern party hits. On the repertoire page you can search by title, artist, dance style and genre, and combine several filters at once.

Which live band fits which event?
At a wedding the music plays several parts: moving during the ceremony, stylish through reception and dinner, well judged for the first dance and full of energy later on the dance floor.
Ceremony, agape & drinks reception → Jazz band
Before the party come the quieter hours: music that carries the ceremony, then something understated for the agape and the drinks reception. Smaller lineups stay audibly elegant without ever drowning out congratulations and conversation.
Corporate event → Corporate event band
A corporate event is all about balance: professional, good for the brand, easy to talk over and ready to turn into a party later. The band adapts to running order, audience and volume.
Summer party & staff party → Band for corporate events
Summer parties, client evenings and company anniversaries each call for a different musical answer. Some formats are meant to stay conversational, others to entertain – lineup, volume and repertoire take their cue from that.
Balls turn on danceability, elegance and a clear musical arc – from waltz and classic ballroom dances through to modern party sets.
A graduation ball has to work for three generations at once: a festive opening with the Viennese waltz, classic dance rounds for the older guests, and a later party phase that fills the floor for the young.

New Year’s Eve → Band for the turn of the year
New Year’s Eve asks for both: festive music over dinner and party hits that run on past midnight. For the turn of the year we recommend 6 to 10 musicians, including a horn section.

For hotels, receptions, brunch, dinner and networking, smaller jazz, lounge and dinner setups create atmosphere without cutting across conversation.

Bookable lineup sizes: 4 to 11 musicians, and 3 for jazz, lounge and dinner. With more guests, a larger venue or more sound presence in mind, the upper end of the range for that occasion is usually the better choice.

Special show formats
The Jetset Society offers four shows that can be booked in their own right alongside the flexible event band programme: an ABBA tribute show of around 90 minutes, a musical homage to Udo Jürgens of around an hour, A Mediterranean Evening of around 100 minutes drawing on Italo pop, French chanson and Latin pop, and an Oktoberfest and Wiesn programme of up to around 6 hours. Each of the four can stand as a programme item of its own or run together with the event band programme – and in a more compact form on request.
ABBA tribute show
Around 90 minutes of ABBA live in one self-contained block – a highlight at corporate events, galas, birthdays and parties. The repertoire includes “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia”, “Waterloo”, “The Winner Takes It All”, “Super Trouper”, “Money, Money, Money” and “Voulez-Vous”, along with “Fernando”, “Chiquitita”, “Knowing Me, Knowing You” and “Thank You for the Music” – and two complete medleys. The block can be played in any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians, either as a programme item of its own or dropped into the middle of the evening.
Musical homage to Udo Jürgens
An hour or so in homage to Udo Jürgens – well suited to galas, anniversaries, corporate events and festive evenings. The programme draws on “Griechischer Wein”, “Ich war noch niemals in New York”, “Aber bitte mit Sahne”, “Merci Chérie”, “Mit 66 Jahren” and “Vielen Dank für die Blumen”, along with “Ein ehrenwertes Haus”, “Immer wieder geht die Sonne auf” and “Was ich dir sagen will” – and a medley. This programme too can be played in any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians; the size decides the colour and the impact, not what is playable.
A Mediterranean Evening
Around 100 minutes of Italo pop, French chanson and Latin pop, sung in Italian, Spanish and French. The programme takes in “Volare”, “Azzurro”, “L’Italiano”, “Sarà perché ti amo”, “Bésame mucho”, “Guantanamera”, “Eviva España”, “Les Champs-Élysées” and “Comme d’habitude”, among others. The Mediterranean repertoire reaches from Eros Ramazzotti, Adriano Celentano and Toto Cutugno through the Gipsy Kings and Julio Iglesias to Joe Dassin and ZAZ. It suits summer parties, garden parties, winery and hotel evenings, dinners and weddings – and with cha-cha-cha, samba, rumba and paso doble it works on the dance floor as well.
Oktoberfest and Wiesn programme
Up to around 6 hours of Oktoberfest atmosphere, or shorter if you prefer – from Bohemian polka and brass-band music through Schlager and sing-along hits to Neue Deutsche Welle. The repertoire includes “Ein Prosit”, “Fliegerlied”, “Rosamunde”, “Auf der Vogelwiese”, “Sierra Madre”, “Hulapalu”, “Joana”, “Atemlos durch die Nacht”, “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “99 Luftballons”, “Skandal im Sperrbezirk” and “Schickeria”. A good fit for weddings in Tracht (traditional Alpine dress) with a touch of Munich’s Wiesn – as locals call the Oktoberfest – for Tracht and Wiesn parties, and for Oktoberfest-style corporate events; it goes down well with discerning guests too. Some of our musicians play at the Munich Oktoberfest every year, in the Schützen-Festzelt. On request the band is happy to perform in Tracht – we agree that beforehand. Possible in any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians; we recommend adding horns.

The agape (the Austrian post-ceremony drinks) and the drinks reception often work well with 4 to 6 musicians, dinner with 3 to 5, weddings with 5 to 7, corporate events and Christmas parties with 5 to 8, parties with 5 to 9, galas with 5 to 10 and balls with 6 to 11. None of that is a requirement: we can play any occasion with any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians.
How much does a live band cost for an event?
For a full-evening event, guide prices start at approx. €2,600. Smaller jazz, lounge and dinner lineups from 3 musicians start at approx. €2,300. Costs depend on lineup, performance time, technical setup, venue, setup time, travel and schedule. That is why we prepare tailored quotes that match your lineup, schedule and venue exactly.
Can The Jetset Society provide sound and lighting equipment?
Yes. The Jetset Society owns its sound and lighting system and brings it along up to a certain room size. We recommend working with our own, because we know exactly how it behaves in a room; if you specifically ask for the venue’s system, we use that instead. Venue, room size, stage, power supply, guest numbers and the running order all help with the planning. Where a room is larger than our own system covers, we agree the approach in advance. Either the venue’s own system is used, or a sound company is brought in – we or the organisers take care of choosing and booking them.
Does The Jetset Society also perform dinner, jazz and lounge music?
Yes. In addition to danceable party music, we also play subtle jazz, lounge, dinner and background music for receptions, the agape, dinner, networking, hotel events and the reception and dinner at a gala – as a jazz band, with lineups from 3 musicians.
