Custom arrangements
Every title on the repertoire list can be played live in any lineup from 4 to 11 musicians. Three-piece lineups are possible for selected jazz, lounge and dinner formats, with a suitable selection of songs put together for them. What changes with the lineup is the arrangement, tonal colour and stage impact – not whether a song can be played at all.
Harmony vocals & horn section
Harmony vocals and an optional horn section (trumpet, saxophone and trombone, for example) give the sound depth, energy and a bigger live presence, particularly at parties, balls and gala evenings. As a rule at least one of the instrumentalists sings a second part as well.

How The Jetset Society came about
The Jetset Society grew out of a clear plan. Thomas Gindl had spent years playing in other bands as a hired musician and had seen at close quarters what works on stage and behind it. Out of that came a precise idea of how a band ought to be organised.
So by the time the band had a name, the arrangements for every lineup were already written, the full technical setup had been bought and a large pool of full-time professional musicians was in place. The arrangements for every lineup come from Thomas Gindl, the horn arrangements included – with individual parts written out, that is, separate sheet music for every instrument. From the start, the aim was both things at once: a professional environment for the musicians, and for clients a band organised down to the last detail. That standard produced the name, the concept and the structure The Jetset Society still works with today.
A large pool of professional musicians
The Jetset Society’s core lineup for event formats consists of 4 musicians: keyboard, bass, drums and vocals, with a female or a male singer. Jazz, lounge and dinner lineups are an exception: here, the core lineup can consist of 3 musicians – piano, double bass and drums. The instruments in the core lineup are fixed; who plays and sings is decided for each event, with the lineup put together from a large pool of full-time professional musicians, all of whom hold music degrees.
This has several advantages for your event:
- Because every instrument has its own written part, the musical quality stays the same even when the lineup changes.
- For every format there are musicians who suit it – for jazz, for strings or for a horn section, for example.
- If a musician drops out at short notice, a replacement of the same standard can usually be found quickly from the pool.
