Booking & conditions

Terms & booking conditions

This page summarises the main conditions that apply to quotes and bookings with The Jetset Society. The specific quote, the booking confirmation and the details agreed in writing always define what applies. The German version of these terms (AGB) is the authoritative version. For consumers, where the two versions differ, whichever version is more favourable to the consumer applies.

Short summary

The most important points

The Jetset Society provides a complete professional solution: live music, preparation, technical setup, logistics and schedule coordination.

Quote & booking

A booking becomes binding once the quote, date, lineup, scope of services, venue, times and fee have been confirmed in writing.

Scope of services

The agreed service can include the live performance, musical preparation, repertoire planning, technical equipment, setup, soundcheck, teardown, logistics and coordination.

Planning certainty

Date, lineup, technical setup and preparation are reserved for the agreed scope. Changes such as a postponement, as well as cancellations and extensions, are handled transparently.

1. Scope

These booking conditions apply to quotes, bookings and services of The Jetset Society, unless the individual quote or a written booking agreement states otherwise.

They apply to private clients, companies, event organisers, agencies, wedding planners, event planners, venues and other clients who book The Jetset Society for weddings, corporate events, balls, galas, parties, Christmas parties, dinner, jazz, lounge or hotel events.

2. Enquiry and booking

Non-binding enquiry

Enquiries via the website, email, phone, WhatsApp or personal recommendation are non-binding at first. For a meaningful assessment we mainly need the date, the venue, the event type, the number of guests, the intended time frame, the musical phases and the technical conditions on site.

Written quote

Based on these key details, an individual quote is prepared. It describes the lineup, the scope of services, performance time, technical setup, fee, payment terms and further conditions.

Binding booking

A booking comes into effect once the quote has been accepted in writing and confirmed by The Jetset Society. Until then, there is no binding reservation of the date or of the musicians.

Changes after the quote

Changes to the venue, performance time, schedule, number of guests, technical setup, lineup or scope of services may require a new calculation.

3. What the service can include

The price of a professional live band covers more than the performance time you see during the evening.

Artistic performance

Live performance in the agreed lineup, standard repertoire and the musical realisation of the agreed event phases.

Preparation & coordination

Song requests, songs to avoid, the first dance, set planning, schedule coordination and communication with clients, the planning team or the venue.

Technical setup & logistics

Depending on the quote: sound and lighting, microphones, monitoring, setup, soundcheck, teardown, transport, travel time and organisational coordination.

Exactly which services are included is set out in the individual quote. Additional services are listed separately or added by agreement.

4. Prices and payment

Prices depend on the lineup, performance time, time on site, technical setup, event type, venue, travel, logistics, date, schedule and the scope of services requested. Initial guidance is available on the Pricing page.

Payment terms, deposits and final payments are defined in the quote or in the booking confirmation. Invoices are issued using the billing details provided during the booking process.

Unless agreed otherwise, additional services, extensions, extra technical equipment, further performance locations, special arrangements, overnight stays, parking fees, tolls or special logistics are calculated separately.

5. Setup, soundcheck and venue

Setup and soundcheck

The band needs enough time for load-in, setup, soundcheck and technical preparation. The exact schedule is agreed with the client, the venue or the technical partner.

Venue requirements

The client makes sure that the agreed performance area is accessible and that the necessary conditions are in place: power, space, vehicle access, parking, weather protection and a contact person on site.

Several performance areas

Ceremony, post-ceremony drinks, reception, dinner, an outdoor area or a second room may require additional equipment, changeover time, staff or a second sound system.

Delays

The Jetset Society fits in with the flow of your event wherever possible. Please note, however, that event delays do not automatically change the agreed performance period or the fee.

6. Songs and special requests

Song requests, songs to avoid and special programme moments are taken into account during the musical planning. Every title on the published repertoire list can be performed live in any booked lineup from 4 to 11 musicians. A requested song that is not yet part of the repertoire is learned specially on request and agreed as an additional service under this section; whether a song is already in the repertoire is something we confirm before the quote.

Songs learned specially because they are not yet part of the repertoire, individual arrangements, transcriptions, bespoke company jingles, guest musicians, additional rehearsals, second sound systems, extra microphones, outdoor setups or special show elements are agreed as additional services and quoted separately.

Extensions on the event day are possible subject to availability and for an additional fee; the rate per additional hour is stated in the quote. There is no entitlement to an extension at short notice.

7. Illness and force majeure

If one or more musicians fall ill or become unexpectedly unavailable, The Jetset Society arranges professional replacements. They are selected by the same criteria as the regular lineup: full-time professional musicians, each holding a music degree.

If a service cannot be delivered, or can be delivered only in part, because of force majeure, official measures, serious illness, accidents, natural events, safety-related circumstances or other events beyond our control, an appropriate solution is sought within the specific booking agreement.

8. Cancellation

Because date, lineup, preparation, technical setup and organisational resources are reserved for a booking, a cancellation is not the same as withdrawing a non-binding enquiry.

Cancellation terms, any cancellation fees and retained deposits depend on the time of cancellation, the agreed scope of services and the specific booking agreement.

The exact cancellation rules are set out clearly and transparently in the final booking agreement.

For consumers: where a contract is concluded as a distance contract, the following applies. Because the performance is agreed for a specific date, the exemption in section 18(1)(10) of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG) for services connected with leisure activities on a specific date applies, so there is no statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal. The individually agreed cancellation terms described above apply regardless.

9. Licences and organiser duties

For public events, performance licences, AKM fees, official permits, curfews, noise protection requirements or other organiser duties can be relevant.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, such permits and fees are the responsibility of the organiser or the client.

10. Photos, videos and references

Photos, videos or reference mentions from private events are used only within the scope of the consent given in each case.

For public or corporate events, individual agreements can be made on the use of images, logos or references.

11. Privacy and final points

Details about personal data are available in the privacy policy.

If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The booking details individually agreed in writing are authoritative.

These terms are dated August 2026.
