Pricing and costs for live music
How much does a live band cost for a wedding, ball, corporate event or gala? At The Jetset Society, costs are calculated individually – depending on lineup, playing time, technical setup, schedule, venue and desired impact.
The Jetset Society deliberately does not list fixed package prices on the website because every event has different requirements. A wedding with ceremony, reception, dinner and party is planned differently from a ball, a corporate event, a gala, a party, a Christmas party or a subtle jazz setup in a hotel.
The most important pricing factor is the right lineup. The Jetset Society performs in flexible formations from 4–11 musicians – and smaller setups are also possible for jazz, lounge and dinner settings. Additional factors include playing time, technical setup, travel, setup time, weekday, season, room size, schedule and individual wishes.
You therefore do not receive an imprecise standard package, but an individual offer tailored to your event. The calculation is not only about the number of musicians, but about the entire live experience: musical quality, stylish presence, organisational reliability, suitable volume and professional execution.
Breaks in the performance, for example during speeches, show acts or programme items, do not automatically reduce the price, because the musicians remain present on site throughout and the time remains organisationally committed.
We are happy to prepare a non-binding offer and discuss which lineup and musical concept best fit your event.
How is the price of a live band calculated?
The price of a live band is not based on a single flat-rate figure, but on several building blocks. The first decisive factor is the desired lineup: a compact formation is calculated differently from a large event, ball or gala lineup with several voices and horns.
Added to that are the length of the musical accompaniment, the exact schedule of the event and the technical effort. Travel, setup time, local conditions, waiting times between programme items and special musical wishes can also influence the calculation.
This creates an offer that is not only understandable in terms of price, but also musically and organisationally fits your event – whether it is a wedding, a ball, a corporate event, a party, a gala or an exclusive occasion.
Instead of an imprecise standard price, you receive an individually and transparently calculated offer based on your actual requirements.
Which factors influence the price?
The number of musicians has the greatest influence on the price. A smaller formation is well suited to more compact events, while larger lineups provide more fullness of sound, harmony vocals, horns and stronger stage impact.
The duration of the live music is an important factor. Some events require only short musical accompaniment, while others need several sets throughout the evening or different music phases such as reception, dinner and party.
Depending on room size, guest count and setup, sound and lighting equipment can be provided by us or supplemented externally. The technical effort influences the calculation and is planned to suit the venue.
Travel, setup times, venue access, parking, load-in routes and organisational requirements can also influence the effort involved.
The precise event schedule plays an important role. This includes waiting times between programme items, longer presence on site, setup before the event starts or a late end to the event.
Special musical wishes, additional programme items, several performance areas within one venue or specific technical requirements can influence the effort and therefore the calculation.
Date, weekday and season can play a role in availability and planning. Particularly popular dates should be enquired about as early as possible.
A wedding, ball, corporate event, gala or hotel event has different requirements in terms of music, schedule, technical setup, dress code and lineup. That is why every offer is adapted to the occasion.
Why an individual offer makes sense
With high-quality live music, the question is not only how many musicians are on stage. What matters is whether music, lineup, technical setup, volume, dress code and schedule suit the event. That is why The Jetset Society works with individual offers.
For an elegant dinner, a smaller formation can be ideal. For a large dance floor, a ball or a gala, a larger lineup with more voices, horns and stage presence may be the better choice. For a wedding, it may be decisive whether ceremony, reception, dinner and party should be planned together.
The goal is an offer that fits not only the budget, but above all the occasion, the venue, the audience and the desired impact.
What we need for an offer
The event date and venue are important for availability, travel, setup and technical planning.
Wedding, ball, corporate event, gala, party or hotel event: occasion and guest count help us assess the right band size.
It is helpful to know whether music is needed for reception, dinner, programme moments, the dance floor or the entire evening.
If you already have an idea, you can include the desired band size, vocals, horns, guitar or musical atmosphere in your enquiry.
